Top Priority: The Terror Within Premiere

Wednesday night saw the world premiere of “Top Priority: The Terror Within”, a documentary telling the story of Julia Davis, a former employee of the Department of Homeland Security who was victimized and dubbed a “domestic terrorist” in retaliation for embarrassing her superiors by exposing negligence. The film also exposes action taken by the DHS against witnesses in subsequent and ultimately successful litigation against it by Davis, including late actress Brittany Murphy. The premiere was attended by Sharon and Tori Balfour, mother and sister of actor Eric Balfour, and former friends of the actress’ mother, Sharon. Sharon Balfour is believed to have become estranged from Sharon Murphy after forming a friendship with Linda Monjack, who was Brittany Murphy’s mother-in-law, and who is understood to be engaged in litigation against Sharon Murphy over the latter’s refusal to hand over items which belonged to Brittany’s also now deceased husband Simon Monjack. Mother and daughter Balfour became agitated and abusive when recognized at the premiere, and fled the scene as soon as the movie ended without attending the subsequent speeches. They have declined to make any comment on the film’s allegations. Sharon Murphy has been unavailable for comment on this or any other matter since shortly after her daughter’s death in December 2009.

History Making Tell-All Documentary Top Priority: The Terror Within To Debut May 2012

Julia Davis Former Department of Homeland Security Whistleblower Speaks Out in Riveting Documentary

LOS ANGELES, May 2, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — Creative visionary, John Schofield, who produced Academy Award-winning films such as Jerry Maguire, As Good As It Gets, and Ali, has produced the must-see documentary of 2012, Top Priority: The Terror Within (www.topprioritymovie.com), which is premiering at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences on May 16, 2012.

Top Priority: The Terror Within, a documentary film by Fleur De Lis Film Studios, features the story of Julia Davis, a former federal officer of the Department of Homeland Security, who was falsely accused of being a domestic terrorist. Julia fought and prevailed as a whistleblower, in spite of insurmountable odds. She now untangles the web of secrets, divulging the untold series of events that were never supposed to reach media outlets. This groundbreaking documentary investigates issues that have ignited controversy within our nation, like the USA Patriot Act, and illegal and unethical tactics that are improperly used against law-abiding Americans. The authenticity of this documentary questions our national security processes and ultimately civil and women’s rights. Top Priority: The Terror Within is slated to be the most widely recognized historical documentary of the year.

On July 4, 2004, Julia Davis reported a national security breach at the largest land border crossing in the U.S. and the world, of which the Department of Homeland Security failed to act on her reports. After hearing of highly suspicious entries of aliens from terrorist countries into the U.S. on July 4th of that year, the Department of Homeland Security opened a total of 54 investigations against Julia Davis, making her their top priority.

This stunning documentary, directed by Asif Akbar, exposes the anomalous degree of abuse under the guise of the PATRIOT Act in the case of Julia Davis. It details unprecedented retaliation by the Department of Homeland Security, perpetrated at the expense of American taxpayers, including land and aerial surveillance, wiretaps, OnStar tracking and other measures implemented against Julia and her family. Top Priority: The Terror Within contains actual footage of the Blackhawk helicopter/ Special Response Team raid of the Davis home, videotaped witness statements and extensive court records. After years of litigation, Julia Davis, vindicated, now speaks out informing the public of her epic phenomenon. She currently serves as a National Security/Anti-Terrorism Expert and legal expert witness in employment issues, alongside the most prominent truth-tellers with the National Whistleblowers Center in DC.

The premiere of Top Priority: The Terror Within will take place on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in Beverly Hills, CA.

…to put their loyalty to her ahead of their loyalty to politicians and to career interest, and to finally issue a statement on the film and it’s allegations. If it’s true that Brittany was victimized as a result of supporting Julia Davis (highly plausible given http://bitly.com/yGfCxC and http://bitly.com/yGfCxC?r=bb), then her state of mind may have been affected: http://bit.ly/qdOClX,http://bit.ly/qSapFq. Stories like those doubtless contributed to her withdrawal and preference for self-medication as described in Block’s article, thus friends owe it to her to examine the film’s allegations. They should support it or condemn it as exploitative, a neutral position is not feasible.
